The body keeps its own record. Tension, patterns, incomplete responses. These live in tissue and the nervous system, not in memory. Somatic work goes to where they actually are.
Somatic work takes many forms. What I practise is Somatic Therapy, not movement-based work. In person, that means Craniosacral Therapy: lying down, light touch bodywork. My online sessions work through breath and deep somatic awareness.
Talk therapy works through language. You narrate, reflect, and reframe. Somatic work works through the body itself: sensation, breath, and the nervous system's own responses become the material.
Each offering works with the body directly. Which one fits depends on where you are and what you're working with.
04A session creates the conditions for your body to let go. Craniosacral therapy, somatic awareness, and breathwork in whatever combination arises, for adults and for mothers with babies.
For adults. Tension that keeps returning. Sleep that doesn't restore. Pain without a clear cause. This work goes to the layer where these patterns tend to live: in the nervous system, in the body.
For mothers and babies. Craniosacral therapy works with the nervous system directly, using the same five-gram pressure used with adults. Most babies respond quickly and visibly.
A session may draw on one of these, or all of them. The body guides what's needed.
Through awareness and breath, you come into direct contact with what you've been carrying. Your body's signals guide the whole session. You don't need to understand it. You follow what's there.
Learn more →From one mother to another: I built this after my own emergency C-section. Shock, numbness, emotional distance from yourself since birth don't have to be permanent. This programme works with what birth left in the body. 12 sessions across 4 modules, online.
A hands-on introduction to working with your body from the inside. You'll learn to read your body's signals and understand what drives your patterns below the cognitive level. Small groups, in person, Hong Kong.
I'm Faith Lantz. I came to craniosacral therapy and somatic work through my own body. I had done a lot of personal work over the years, and when I found this, something shifted that nothing else had reached. It changed the direction of my life. That's why I practice.
Sessions are unhurried. I work with the nervous system through touch, breath, and awareness. I don't push toward a particular outcome. You bring yourself and I follow what's there.
