Understanding why you react a certain way doesn't stop the reaction. Knowing where the pattern comes from doesn't release it from your body. Insight is not the same as integration.

Soma Speak is a somatic session, online, one-on-one.

I track what your body is doing in real time. I guide you into direct contact with sensation. And together we give your nervous system the conditions to complete what it's been holding.
We work with what's alive in your body right now. Not through retelling a story, but through listening to what arises when you actually pay attention.
I track what your body is doing beneath the surface: the held breath, the bracing pattern, the activation your nervous system won't let go of. And I create the conditions for it to complete what it started.

I know what it's like to do everything right and still feel like your body hasn't caught up.

I had done a lot of work on myself. Therapy, meditation, journaling, breathwork. These things genuinely supported me. I'm grateful for all of it. I understood myself well, could trace my patterns, had developed real self-awareness over the years.

It turned out there was a whole register below that.

A nervous system that stayed on alert no matter how much I understood about why. A particular way of bracing I'd been carrying so long it had become invisible to me. I thought I knew myself pretty well. What I didn't know was that there were patterns, whole ways of holding and compensating, that had been living in my tissue without ever making it up to the level of thought.

What changed everything was discovering somatic work, the work of Peter Levine and Bessel van der Kolk. I began doing SE sessions alongside craniosacral therapy, and for the first time I felt the difference between managing something and it actually shifting. The same way you know the difference between holding your breath and actually exhaling.

That's why I do this work. Because I know what it's like when something finally moves. And I want that for you.

Who are these calls for?

These sessions are for people at a particular point in their journey.

Your body has been speaking through symptoms. Tension, fatigue, pain, disrupted sleep. You want to understand what it's trying to say.

You've done the cognitive work and you're honest enough to notice its edges. You can name the pattern perfectly and it still comes home with you.

You want something that works at the level of tissue, not language. Not instead of the thinking work. Below it.

You're ready to stop explaining it and start feeling it. Get curious about what's actually happening in your system, not the story you've built around it.

Soma Speak is complementary work. It focuses on the somatic layer, working with body sensation and the nervous system directly.

What happens in a session

Every session moves through six natural phases. Nothing is forced. The body leads, and the story is always secondary to sensation.

Dropping In
We settle. You orient to your space, your body, your breath. We establish a felt sense of safety before we go anywhere.

Opening the Field
You share what's alive for you. What brought you here today. What your body has been doing. I listen for the body's cues, not just the story.

The Wave
The heart of the session. We follow sensation, gently moving between what feels activated and what feels settled. Small doses. Your nervous system sets the pace.

The Release
The body's natural letting go. A deep sigh. Warmth spreading. Tears. A yawn. These aren't side effects. They're signs that a cycle your body has been holding is finally completing.

The Gathering
We slow down further. I hold the space while your body settles into what shifted. No rush. No performance. Silence is not empty. It is where self-regulation happens.

The Seed
You leave with something to carry forward: a practice, a resource, an awareness, and a thread to follow deeper next time. We update your Listening Log together, noting what your body said today in your own words.

What six sessions look like

The body leads. These aren't prescriptive themes. They're landmarks for what typically happens at each stage.

The Meeting
First contact with the body's language. Building safety. Learning to notice. Establishing your resource, the place inside that feels settled.

The Deepening
The body starts to trust the process. Patterns begin to surface. You go a little further than Session 1. The Wave gets bigger.

The Turning
Something significant shifts. The body starts to show what it's really been holding. This is often where the first meaningful Release happens.

The Unfolding
What was compressed starts to open. Connections emerge between the symptom, the sensation, and something deeper. The body tells its story.

The Settling
The nervous system starts to reorganise. Old patterns loosen. New ones emerge. You begin to feel different between sessions, not just during them.

The Carrying
Landing. You know the language now. You know how to listen. This session closes the journey and plants what you carry forward into your life.
