A 60-minute online somatic session, one-on-one. Most people have spent years understanding themselves. This is the part below that.
Picture sitting up after a session and something being different. Not dramatically. Just quieter. More room inside you than there was an hour ago. You breathe deeper without trying. Your mind goes still in a way that isn't effort. It just happens.
Every Soma Speak session builds your Listening Log: a shared record of where sensation lived, what shifted, and what to carry into the week. Over time, it becomes a map of your body's journey in your own words.
That's normal, especially in Session 1. Your body has spent years protecting itself. It doesn't open up on command. It opens when it trusts. Sometimes the first session is just the body saying hello. That's enough.
Some people feel tired, emotional, or achy after a session. This is your body processing, like soreness after a deep massage. It usually settles within 24–48 hours. Drink water. Rest. Be gentle with yourself. If it persists, message me.
Welcome. Tears are release. They're a sign your body is completing something it's been holding. There's no wrong way to feel in a session.
That's your mind doing its job, protecting you. We don't fight it. We work alongside it. Sometimes the most powerful session is one where you spend the whole time learning to land. That is the work.
Not every session has a big release. Sometimes the shift is subtle: a slight softening in your chest, a deeper breath, a moment where your shoulders drop without you trying. That's your nervous system reorganising. Subtle is not small.
No. There is conversation in a session, but the body is the primary guide. Change comes through direct contact with sensation: what the body is doing right now. You don't need to retell anything. You just need to be willing to notice what's there.
Your Listening Log is a record we build together across your sessions. At the end of each session, we note where sensation lived today, what it felt like in your own words, what shifted, and what to carry into the week. Over time, it becomes a map of your body's journey, something you can look at and see, in your own words, what changed.
A device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet, or phone all work). Somewhere private where you won't be interrupted for 60 minutes. Comfortable clothes, and a blanket nearby if you want it. That's all. I'll send a confirmation with the video link and a brief preparation note before we meet.
Most people haven't. That's not a problem. The body doesn't need a curriculum. In fact, coming without expectations often makes the first session cleaner: there's no previous framework to unlearn. I'll guide you through everything. We go at your body's pace, not a prescribed one.
Yes. A single session gives you a genuine experience of the work. That said, the nervous system learns cumulatively. Most people notice the real shift across three to six sessions. Come for one, and see how your body responds.
Send a message. Tell me what's going on, or simply that you'd like to know more. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation.
